Shaft hopper feeder
Shaft Hopper Feeders are designed to feed longer cut to length bars, tubes and machined parts with a wide diameter range. Parts are hand stacked, bundle loaded or with modifications to the hopper loaded from a conveyor from a previous operation. This type of feeder is very suitable for long-thin parts applications. The parts are elevated on singular elevator pads then discharged rolling into a magazine, then escaped rolling either to a cross conveyor, a pusher device, a walking beam, or customer tracking. Noise levels are very low due to zero recirculation of parts. These feeders have fed parts such as steering racks, strut piston rods, copy machine rolls, axle shafts and many other shaft type parts. The Automatic Shaft Hopper Feeder permits the Robottturn to operate at maximum capacity and to feed the material end-to-end. This reduces machine maintenance and increases production as much as 35 percent over manual feeding. The operator needs only to keep the table loaded.

The most standardised solution to cover a wide range of round or non-round, symmetrical or non-symmetrical workpieces to feed-in, is the Pallet Feeder. Basically there are 2 types: stacking type or flat non-stacking type. The Pallet Jigs can be easily designed and manufactured locally if required to suit the input casting or forging or cut bars of varied shapes. For round workpieces, the simple 3-pole setting design adds to flexibility and reduction in set-up change time as well.
Quick Workpiece Palletizing Two-axis, Swivel head gantry loader allows for easy and quick palletizing of different shape and size parts through flexible teaching positions. The loader hand allows work loading/unloading on stacking, Non-stacking type work feeders, Conveyors, Positioning units, Chutes etc. and irregular shape parts loading/unloading similar to robot hand.

Shaft Thru Feeders are designed to feed longer cut to length bars, tubes and machined parts with a wide diameter range but longer than the Z-axis stroke of the lathe. Parts are hand stacked, bundle loaded or with modifications to the hopper loaded from a conveyor from a previous operation. This type of feeder is very suitable for long-thin parts applications. The parts are optional elevated from a bunker on singular elevator pads then discharged rolling into a magazine, then pushed thru to spindle into the machine against a stopper.
These feeders have fed parts such as steering racks, piston rods, copy machine rolls, axle shafts, shock absorber shafts, and many other shaft type parts. The Automatic Shaft Thru Feeder permits the Robottturn to operate at maximum capacity and to feed the material end-to-end. This reduces machine maintenance and increases production. Vibratory feeders
Vibratory bowl feeders are the most common device used to feed components in Industrial Assembly Automation Applications. Vibratory feeders are self-contained systems, comprising of a specially tooled bowl feeder that orients the components, a vibrating drive unit upon which the bowl feeder is mounted and a variable-amplitude control box.
The bowl feeder, including an out feed accumulation track to convey parts along and discharge into the assembly machine are supplied in many shapes and sizes. The drive unit vibrates the bowl feeder, forcing the parts to move up a circular, inclined track. The track is designed to sort and orient the parts in consistent, repeatable positions. The track length, width, and depth are carefully chosen to suit the application and component shape and size. Special track coatings are applied according to shape size and material of the parts which aids traction, damage to the product and lower acoustic levels. A variable speed control box is used for controlling the vibration of the bowl feeder and stops the flow of parts to the out feed track via sensors.
Vibratory feeders offer a cost-effective alternative to manual labour, saving manufacturer’s time and labour costs. Several factors must be considered when selecting a parts feeder, including the form and weight of the part, application, material properties, and product volume.

Parts trays
The parts trays have interchangeable perforated plates, they can accommodate all item types and can be replaced by thin plate feeding for edge bending. It enables the production of medium and large size series in a fully automated four-shift operation. Manual intervention is limited to simply filling the parts trays and/or replacing the feeder. The parts trays are easy to replace in a few seconds on both sides. Dimension and capacity of trays is not limited in size or quantity!

Robotturn Multi tray in-out feeder
Robotturn Multi tray feeder is expanded with a lift module that automatically switches the trays with the parts to be processed. The capacity is increased from 1 to 8 part trays. The solution makes it possible to run a fully automated 4-shift operation, or introduce unmanned night shifts where any downtime can be notifed by a text message. The manual input is limited to supervising the machine, pre-flling the parts trays and replacing the trays on a mover once per 4-shift operation.

Hopper Feeders - bunker feeders are designed specifically to automatically feed random loaded sliding, rolling headed or hanging parts with different diameter ranges. Parts are elevated and gravity fed into chutes with various orienting devices designed to provide a continuous flow of product. These feeders may be used to feed all types of parts randomly dropped in the bunker container. The automatic feeding process from bulk is proven to be more cost effective by eliminating expensive hand labor of feeding and saving time lost by handling parts manually.
